First person – Saurabh Shrivastva

ABSTRACT First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Journal of Cell Science, helping researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Saurabh Shrivastva is first author on ‘ Non-muscle myosin IIA and IIB differentially affect the traffic and signaling of the thrombopoietin receptor’, published in JCS. Saurabh is a PhD student in the lab of Dr Anita Roy at Kusuma School of Biological Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, India, where he works on understanding cytoskeletal regulation and cellular mechanisms underlying megakaryocyte development and function.
