D4.8 Practice Abstracts – Batch 1

The present document is deliverable D4.8 – “Practice Abstracts – Batch 1”, framed within “WP4 – Outreach and open calls management” of the FOODITY project. The FOODITY project has the objective of delivering 50 Practice Abstracts (PA) over the course of the project. These are to be delivered in two batches: 25 in batch 1, represented in this document, and 25 in batch 2, to be delivered at the end of the project in December 2025. A PA can be described as a short summary that provides information, recommendation, or a practice that can be used by different end-users in their daily activities. The PA developed within the FOODITY project will mainly focus on relevant information collected through research activities, information about the technology developed within the project that can be used by end-users, and information about the projects funded by FOODITY and their respective data-driven solutions. This first batch of 25 PA is presented in this deliverable format for reporting purposes, but will be converted to the traditional EIP-AGRI common format (while keeping the FOODITY visual identity) for broader communication purposes, including on the FOODITY website, the FOODITY Zenodo community, and social media. The format is recommended as it is expected to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and contact between potential partners in innovation projects. Furthermore, it contributes to building up a repository of practical knowledge across the EU via the EIP-AGRI project database.
