Energetic Packing and Constrained Packing Dynamics: A Unified Kinematic Theory of Structure Formation
We introduce the Energetic Packing Principle (EPP) as a necessary energetic precursor toConstrained Packing Dynamics (CPD). The principle states that when energy input exceeds asystem’s instantaneous dissipation or processing capacity, the system must reorganize spatiallyto store energy in structured, non-thermal degrees of freedom. CPD then governs how this storedenergy is kinematically routed through flux, curvature, and packing. This two-layer frameworkreframes turbulence, biological organization, learning, and aging as manifestations of delayeddissipation rather than instability or randomness. A falsifiable prediction is proposed linkingenergetic overload to dimensional reorganization thresholds.
