Formation Features of Interspecific Hybrids (Triticum aestivum L. × Triticum durum Desf.) with Different Ploidy Levels of Genotypes and the Causes of Asynaptic Meiosis in Individual Hybrid Combinations

The results of a cytological analysis of metaphase I in interspecific hybrids of Triticum aestivum L. × Triticum durum Desf. are presented. Based on them, the character of the splitting of the population of interspecific F2 hybrids in terms of the quantitative composition of chromosomes is presented. Forms with asynaptic meiosis have been identified in hybrid combinations. The results of a cytological monosome analysis of the specifics of the passage of metaphase I of meiosis in hybrid combinations with asynaptic meiosis are shown.
