Hadronization Studies in Small and Large Systems at LHCb
The LHCb experiment offers a unique environment to study the dynamics of hadronization across a wide range of collision systems and energies at the LHC. The forward-rapidity spectrometer allows for measurements in all LHC-accelerated collision systems, as well as fixed-target collisions of one of the LHC beams with different gases, probing collisions of different nuclei at various collision energies ranging from around 50 GeV up to 13.6 TeV. This contribution presents recent results from LHCb on hadron production in small and large systems, focusing on nuclear modification effects in quarkonia production. In addition, novel measurement methods for studies of antinuclei and hypernuclei production at LHCb are discussed. An outlook for ongoing and upcoming studies with LHC Run-3 data and the prospect of the planned LHCb Upgrade-II will be given.
