Selective Reductive Elimination from Pd(IV)-Enabled Dual C–H Alkylation
Reductive elimination is a fundamental step in organometallic transformations, yet controlling the selectivity between two (hetero)aryl groups during this process from a Pd(IV) center remains a significant challenge. Herein, we report selective reductive elimination from C(aryl),C(pyrrolyl)-Pd(IV) complexes. The alkylated Pd(IV) complexes undergo selective reductive elimination at pyrrolyl groups. Building on this, we developed dual C-H alkylation reactions, yielding dialkylated pyrrole products.
