Strengthening Visibility, Open Access, and Advancing Toward Indexing in 2026

Dear Colleagues, Researchers, and Esteemed Members of the Medical and Scientific Community, We are pleased to present the second issue of VMS Journal, published in December 2025, following the successful launch of our inaugural issue in August 2025. The growing interest from researchers across different disciplines and countries has reinforced our commitment to developing a high-quality, sustainable, and internationally visible scientific journal. VMS Journal was established as a multidisciplinary platform encompassing internal medicine, surgical sciences, preclinical medical sciences, and the broader health sciences. Our goal is to publish scientifically rigorous work that bridges basic science, clinical practice, and health systems, ultimately contributing to improved patient care, education, and public health. The manuscripts included in this issue reflect the diversity and scientific standards that define the journal. Methodological quality, ethical integrity, and translational relevance remain central to our editorial approach. Open Access and No Publication Fees VMS Journal is a fully open-access journal, committed to the unrestricted dissemination of scientific knowledge. No article processing charges (APCs), submission fees, or publication fees are required from authors at any stage of the editorial or publication process. All published articles are freely and permanently accessible to readers worldwide. We believe that removing financial barriers is essential to promoting equity, inclusiveness, and global participation in scientific publishing.
