The genome sequence of the Scallop Shell Moth, Rheumaptera undulata (Linnaeus, 1758) (Lepidoptera: Geometridae)
<ns3:p> We present a genome assembly from an individual female <ns3:italic>Rheumaptera undulata</ns3:italic> (Scallop Shell Moth; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Geometridae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 676.50 megabases and 632.15 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (99.64%) is scaffolded into 32 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the W and Z sex chromosomes. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 16.51 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland. </ns3:p>
