Frog-Derived Peptide RL-RF10 Facilitates Gingival Repair and Regeneration Through the Integrin αvβ3/p38/Snail1 Axis
RL-RF10 is the first known amphibian-derived peptide with potential for gingival repair and regeneration. It promotes cell migration, a process linked to p38 mitogen-activated protein kinases pathway activation and associated with the upregulation of ITG αvβ3 expression and partial epithelial-mesenchymal transition. These findings provide insights into RL-RF10's role in tissue repair and suggest new avenues for clinical applications.
