Inhibition in an Integrated Spiking Laser Neuron Using an Intra-Cavity Phase Shifter
We examine the influence of a tunable intra-cavity phase shifter on the excitable dynamics of an integrated twosection spiking laser neuron in generic InP technology. The results show that the excitable threshold and timing are controllable, and inhibition is observed for relatively large phase tuning.
