Analysis of the extreme and informational properties of the diffuse-reflective method of control and diagnostics of various products

The article is devoted to the analysis of the extreme and informational properties of the diffuse-reflective method of testing various products, including agricultural fruit and vegetable products. The main methods that can be used in conducting and testing using the diffuse-reflective method are considered. Based on the Kubelka-Munch equation, the functional of the diffuse-reflective non-destructive method is constructed. The extreme property of this functional is investigated under a certain restrictive condition imposed on the relationship between the extinction coefficient and the scattering coefficient. Also, based on the Kubelka-Munk equation, it is shown that the information content of the diffuse-reflective non-destructive diagnostic method is higher than the information content of the destructive absorption method and the non-destructive scattering method.

Abstract

The main methods that can be used in conducting and testing using the diffuse-reflective method are considered. Based on the Kubelka-Munch equation, the functional of the diffuse-reflective non-destructive method is constructed. The extreme property of this functional is investigated under a certain restrictive condition imposed on the relationship between the extinction coefficient and the scattering coefficient. Also, based on the Kubelka-Munk equation, it is shown that the information content of the diffuse-reflective non-destructive diagnostic method is higher than the information content of the destructive absorption method and the non-destructive scattering method.
