Trainee experiences and attitudes to phase 1 oncology trials: a cross‐sectional survey of Australian medical oncology trainees

Australian medical oncology trainees are highly involved in the care of patients on POTs despite receiving minimal training. Trainees report greater confidence in performing trial-specific clinical assessments than in discussing clinical aspects of POTs. This study highlights the need for formalised training and the development of education resources to enhance conduct and information provision regarding POTs.
