From Virtual to Physical: AIGC-Driven Human–Computer Collaboration in Miao Costume Design
Abstract The authors propose an AIGC-driven human-computer collaboration framework for ethnic costume design, demonstrated through Miao dress. Integrating AI-generated patterns, 3D modeling, and digital fabrication, the study explores how traditional motifs can be rearticulated through artistic language and collaborative workflows. User evaluations indicate strong potential in enhancing creative efficiency, cultural visibility, and expressive sustainability, while also revealing challenges in semantic precision and cross-disciplinary integration. The work underscores the irreplaceable role of human creativity and cultural insight in AI-assisted design, offering a sustainable pathway for the digital transformation of ethnic fashion.
