The Kinematic Laws of Complex Systems: A Geometric Extension of Thermodynamics

Classical thermodynamics provides a robust description of energy conservation and theinevitable increase of entropy (S) in closed systems. However, it remains largely “topologyblind,”offering little insight into the structural evolution or “steering” capabilities of complexsystems such as proteins, neural networks, or social institutions. This article proposesa “Kinematic Bridge” consisting of three new laws derived from the Curvature–Packing–Dynamics (CPD) Framework. These laws describe the transition of systems througha 4D manifold (3D + Time), identifying Packing (P) as a structural form of entropy andCurvature (C) as the primary order parameter for systemic vitality.
