Color as a Generative Principle in the Work of Sonia Delaunay

Abstract The research examines the generative operation of colour in the art of Sonia Delaunay. Through the analysis of painting, textiles and design, it explores the structural relationships between colour, form, rhythm and perception. The research also interprets these relationships from the perspective of digital and AI-based image generation, distinguishing Delaunay’s visual generativity from algorithmic image-making.
