Selective fluorescence detection of cholesterol using an anthracene–triazole probe: a turn-on, enzyme/metal-free approach

Anthracene–triazole probe ( ATBz ) enables selective turn-on, metal and enzyme-free fluorescence detection of cholesterol by forming rigid assemblies that restrict molecular motion of ATBz and induce aggregation-induced emission.
