A COMPREHENSIVE QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS OF A NOVEL EBOLA VIRUS DISEASE

In this paper, we developed a mathematical model consisting of six compartments, focusing on two new classes: hospitalization and vaccination compartments. The stability analysis of the model was carried out. First, the positivity and boundedness of the solution were investigated. Then, the basic reproduction number, [Formula: see text], was derived. By using this number, we studied the local and global stability of both the disease-free and endemic equilibrium points. Furthermore, sensitivity analysis and bifurcation analysis were also conducted. Numerical simulations were performed to derive the results. Moreover, we compared the Non-Standard Finite Difference (NSFD) and Runge–Kutta 4 (RK4) methods and also examined the effect of different parameters on [Formula: see text]. Stability analysis shows that when [Formula: see text], the disease dies out, while for [Formula: see text], it persists in an endemic state.
