Some neurobiological mechanisms of mental disorders and therapeutic effects of psychopharmacotherap
In many mental disorders, there is a violation of the function of the limbic system, in particular the hippocampus. The inclusion in the treatment regimen of drugs that improve the structural and functional properties of the hippocampus increases the effectiveness of treatment. The article discusses such a case.
