Waveguide Grating on Lithum Niobate on Insulator for Electrically Modulated Filter
Side-wall Bragg grating optical filters fabricated on the lithium niobate on insulator platform had been demonstrated. The grating performance had been studied under various design parameters, with 30 nm stopband width, 25 dB resonance extinction ratio and <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$22.4 \text{pm} / \mathrm{V}$</tex> electro-optic tuning capability are reported.
