Application of established standards: General technical specifications of tongue and face diagnosis image acquisition devices in traditional Chinese medicine
Tongue and face diagnosis are essential components of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) diagnostics, providing valuable insights into visceral functions and pathological information through observation of tongue and facial features. With the advancement of technology, tongue and face diagnosis image acquisition devices have become significant tools for TCM-assisted diagnosis. Based on the Tongue and Face Diagnosis Image Acquisition Device—General Technical Specification T/ZJOS 001—2024 issued by the Optical Society of Zhejiang, this standard provides a systematic introduction to the fundamental requirements, technical specifications, and testing methods for these devices. This standard aims to standardize protocols for tongue and face diagnosis image acquisition devices, improve the objectivity and accuracy of TCM tongue and face diagnosis, and develop evidence-based technical specifications to optimize TCM clinical diagnostics.
