Energy and protein intake relative to body weight in haemodialysis patients: A reanalysis of data

Reporting absolute intakes allowed us to reflect the actual nutrient consumption patterns of this cohort.Nonetheless, we acknowledge that the wide variability in body weight among participants may affect the interpretability of between-group comparisons.This reanalysis strengthens the clinical relevance of our study and underscores the need for standardised reporting of nutritional metrics in haemodialysis research, thereby improving the comparability and applicability of future dietary studies in this population.
