His works are also considered a turning point in the development of American literature. Twain played an important role in the development of realism in American literature. The accurate and detailed description of life in his works, the use of regional dialogues, and the realistic reflection of everyday life served as a model for other writers. In particular, the work “Huckleberry Finn” is an important example that realistically presents the social and cultural characteristics of American society. Twain’s work plays the role of social and moral criticism in the literature of his people.
