Motion-Induced Visual Primitives from Commodity Smartphone Video
This technical report describes the emergence of structured visual primitives from commodity smartphone video under motion, occlusion, and illumination change. Using reproducible scripts applied to unconstrained handheld recordings, we identify phase-shift, acceleration-dependent, and multi-scale geometric patterns that are not present in static frames. We formalize these observations as a primitive grammar and release associated metadata to support replication and downstream research in computer vision, active perception, and robotics.
