MOLECULAR PRECISION MATTER ASSEMBLY FOR FOOD SYNTHESIS: A RIGOROUS SYSTEMS-ENGINEERING ROADMAP TO PROGRAMMABLE NUTRITION
This paper presents a comprehensive, quantitatively rigorous systems-engineering analysis of technological pathways toward molecular-precision food synthesis—a programmable system capable of assembling complex nutritional products from elemental or molecular feedstock with atomic-scale control. Inspired by Star Trek's food replicator concept, this work evaluates the scientific feasibility, technological readiness, integration challenges, and implementation timelines using methodologies analogous to NASA mission architecture development for interplanetary exploration.
