Dissipative generation and stabilization of multipartite Rydberg entanglement in a lossy cavity
As one of the most remarkable features of quantum mechanics, quantum entanglement has attracted much attention. By combining the Rydberg atoms and cavity QED, we propose an efficient scheme for generating and stabilizing multipartite entanglement states, including the arbitrary Bell state, W, and DFS state with fidelity over 99 % . The Rydberg blockade efficiently simplifies the situations of double excitations, which promises the stabilization of the target states. Taking advantage of the two-photon resonance process of Rydberg atoms, different entanglement states can be obtained only by adjusting the Rabi frequencies of the classical laser fields. The fidelity of the steady state is insensitive to the drive amplitudes and cavity decay rate. The scheme is generic and can be extended to the N particle case. • This scheme utilizes the two-photon resonance process of Rydberg atom realizing a regulated effective cavity coupling strength. • Various entangled states can be generated by adjusting the relationship between classical fields. • The fidelity of arbitrary Bell states, W state and DFS states can reach over 99 % and is robust to the drive amplitudes and cavity decay rate. • This scheme organically integrates the cavity decay, laser-atom interaction, and Rydberg blockade effect.
