Consciousness, Geometry, and Dimension W: Toward a Constraint-Based Ontology of Reality
Abstract This paper synthesizes recent interdisciplinary insights into a unified constraint-based ontology integrating physics, geometry, and consciousness. Building upon prior arguments for consciousness as an ontological dimension, the present work introduces Dimension W as a pre-physical constraint space governing allowable geometric configurations of spacetime and matter. Geometry is proposed as the primary bridge between Dimension W and physical reality, with energy understood as a measure of resistance to geometric reconfiguration. Consciousness is framed as a localized, system-relative expression of Dimension W constraints within biological systems, exerting causal efficacy through constraint modulation rather than force transmission. By unifying nuclear energy release, perceptual meaning, and conscious causation under a common geometric constraint framework, this paper offers a coherent expansion of physicalism without invoking non-lawful or dualistic entities.
