Institutional Omission: Governance, Archival Integrity, and the Construction of Cultural Record
This working paper examines mechanisms of institutional omission within contemporary cultural systems, with particular attention to archival governance, attribution failure, and structural erasure. It analyzes how omissions are produced through institutional processes rather than individual intent, and proposes a documentation-based framework for evidentiary continuity, provenance integrity, and long-term cultural record governance. The paper is intended for researchers, archivists, and institutions engaged in stewardship, attribution, and cultural accountability.
