The Dual-Helix Stability Model of Agency and Existential Sovereignty

Abstract In the era of artificial intelligence and algorithmic mediation, human stability is increasingly fragile. Existing psychological, educational, and philosophical frameworks tend to locate stability within emotional regulation, relational adaptation, or subjective meaning-making. However, these approaches often fail to address a deeper structural dislocation: the separation of action initiation from existential grounding. This whitepaper introduces the Dual-Helix Stability Model, a structural framework proposing that sustainable human stability emerges only when Agency Origination and Existential Sovereignty operate in coordinated alignment. Stability, in this model, is not an internal feeling, behavioral skill, or relational outcome, but an emergent structural state resulting from the non-delegation of both action initiation and existential positioning. By explicitly separating these variables from the overloaded concept of subjectivity, this paper offers a new ontological vocabulary and structural lens for understanding human instability in the AI era. The model aims to provide a foundational framework for future interdisciplinary research while explicitly delimiting its scope to conceptual and structural clarification. Abstract
