Systematic uncertainties on DESI Tully-Fisher distances constrained with Integral Field Spectroscopy
Supplementary material to DESI's publication Systematic uncertainties on DESI Tully-Fisher distances constrained with Integral Field Spectroscopy to comply with the data management plan. The zip folder contains 3 folders 1) codes: This contains three code files, "Final hostphot.ipynb" is the initial code that does the first work(obviously, earlier versions did the work to create a new dataset from data selection to all other things), from kinemetry to axis mapping to extract parameters to maximum rotational velocity and all other work. The "calibration and distance estimation code" performs the calibration and distance estimation task. The third code, "Final_analysis.ipynb", does the residual analysis and comparison work. 2) figures: This contains figures in a subfolder, including the figures in the paper and other figures like kinemetry analysis, outlier projection, axis mapping and more.3) tables_data: This contains multiple tables containing data that were used in the analysis and plots. One important caveat is that each table's data might contain redundant data from the target to PA. During coding, instead of selecting data from multiple tables at different locations and bringing them together, the current file would contain all previous data, making it easier to proceed. So each upcoming table appended new data.
