MAIN ASPECTS OF TEACHING DRAWING FOR GRAPHIC DESIGN STUDENTS

The contemporary methodology of teaching specialized drawing to graphic design students is base on the synthesis of analytical, interpretative and transformational approaches. The analytical method focuses on the systematic investigation of objects through the analysis of their structural features and the formation of spatial thinking via multiple observation sessions. The interpretative approach fosters the creative potential and unique authorial style of future designers through experimentation with traditional and digital techniques. The transformational method includes exercises for rethinking form, developing the ability to generate alternative visual solutions. A key aspect is the integration of digital technologies-combining handdrawn sketches with subsequent computer processing (Johnson, 2024). The interdisciplinary nature of the training, which incorporates principles of architectural composition, photographic perspective, and the psychology of perception, builds the capacity for complex problem-solving. This comprehensive methodological approach is effective for the formatio of the professional competencies required by future graphic designers.
