Retention assessment of maxillary acrylic complete denture base processed on two different casts conventional and three-dimensional printed one: A cross-over study

Abstract Objective Retention evaluation of maxillary acrylic complete denture base processed on two different casts conventional and three-dimensional printed one. Patient and methods Two maxillary complete dentures for each patient opposing one mandibular complete denture. The first one constructed upon three-dimensional printed cast that made by scanning for final impression, the second was constructed through the conventional technique. Retention evaluation conducted at time of insertion for both groups, data collected, and statistically analyzed. Results There was no statistically significant difference between both groups. Conclusions There was no significant difference between both techniques.
