The role of AI chatbots in veterinary services

The use of large language model (LLM) tools is gaining popularity in the veterinary sector.Literature review was performed, and nine veterinary professionals were interviewed with a goal to investigate the effect of LLM (i.e.ChatGPT) on communication within the industry as well as the challenges with its use.Our findings revealed that ChatGPT has been used by veterinarians, mainly to improve the language fluency.Despite the fact that ChatGPT can sound educated, fluent and believable, it has been established that trusting it requires extra care and education.
