Title of the Paper Evolving Dimensions of Law and Justice: Navigating Rights, Accountability, Technology, and Environmental Challenges in the 21st Century Author Ganesh Shrirang NaleM.A. SociologyCentral University of Haryana, India Paper Description This research critically examines the evolving landscape of law and justice in the 21st century by focusing on four interconnected dimensions—human rights, accountability, technological transformation, and environmental challenges. The paper highlights the expansion of rights into socio-economic, digital, collective, and intergenerational domains; the growing demand for accountability beyond the state to include corporations, international institutions, and algorithmic systems; the legal and ethical implications of artificial intelligence and digital governance; and the rise of environmental and climate justice jurisprudence. It argues that contemporary legal frameworks must adopt an integrated, inclusive, and ethically grounded approach to effectively address complex global realities. I am deeply grateful for the guidance, learning opportunities, and institutional support received throughout this academic journey. Presenting at IIT Kharagpur and achieving publication has been a truly enriching experience and a significant milestone in my research career. This achievement motivates me to continue contributing to academic research, interdisciplinary scholarship, and critical legal discourse.
