Design of Smart Academic Record System Using Python and Virtual IoT

In order to assure safe and impenetrable data management, this study describes the design and simulation of a smart student attendance and academic record system using Python and virtual IoT inputs combined with block-chain-inspired principles. In order to track attendance, the system first creates virtual data inputs that resemble real-time sources like RFID tags and facial recognition. Each student's co-curricular performance, behavioral evaluations, and academic results are likewise mimicked. By hashing every record and implementing immutable smart contract rules, Python-based logic mimics blockchain principles to guarantee data authenticity and prevent unwanted alteration. Students are given digital badges (Gold, Silver, and Bronze) according to predetermined behavioral and academic standards using a rule-based classification scheme. Role-based access control (RBAC) logic is another aspect of the system that guarantees that only authorized users, including administrators, teachers, and students, can view or change pertinent data. Bar charts, pie charts, and box plots are examples of visualization methods that are used to show attendance distribution and performance patterns across classes and genders. based on information gathered from several Karnataka schools for grades 8 through 10. The findings demonstrate the potential of a decentralized, simulated education record system to advance equity, openness, and the early detection of high-performing and slow learners. Despite being created in Python using Google Colab, this framework is scalable and can eventually be integrated with blockchain-based networks or national digital education systems.
