Decentralized event-triggered second-order sliding mode control for discrete interconnected fractional-order systems

This study proposes an innovative sliding mode control method specifically designed for discrete interconnected fractional-order systems. The approach focuses on improving system performance by effectively managing the complexities inherent to these systems. The controller incorporates Decentralized Second Order Sliding Mode Control (2SMC) to bolster robustness against fluctuations. The study also presents an event-triggered implementation of 2SMC, offering potential benefits such as reduced computational load and enhanced efficiency. Rigorous robustnness analysis of the proposed controllers strategies demonstrates their effectiveness in achieving desired system behavior. Through simulation examples, the paper thoroughly evaluates the performance of the proposed controllers, highlighting their robustness and applicability in discrete interconnected fractional order systems. This work contributes to advancing control strategies for complex interconnected systems with fractional order dynamics.
