The diagnostic application and prognostic value of 68 Ga-DOTANOC and 18 F-FDG PET/CT in thymic neuroendocrine tumors
Thymic carcinoid (ThC) is an extremely rare type of neuroendocrine tumor. Evidence for ThC evaluation with 68 Ga-(1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-tetraacetic acid)-1-NaI 3 -octreotide ( 68 Ga-DOTANOC) and 18 F-fluorodeoxyglucose ( 18 F-FDG) PET/CT has limitation. This study aimed to estimate the diagnostic and prognostic value of 68 Ga-DOTANOC and 18 F-FDG PET/CT for ThC.
