Policy recommendations

This deliverable encapsulates the scientific output generated from Task 3.1. It is situated within the context of the REBOOT Project’s Work Package 3 (WP3), which is dedicated to examining the policy and legal framework governing the European Film Industry (EFI). In alignment with the overarching aims and objectives of the REBOOT Project and WP3, the deliverable offers a comprehensive analysis of the policy and legal framework that influences and regulates the operation of the EFI, thereby impacting the competitiveness of the European audiovisual sector within the European Union (EU). It not only provides a systematic mapping and analysis of EU policy documents and legislation pertaining to the EFI and its operation, but it also offers a set of policy recommendations for EU and national policymakers. These recommendations address the existing gaps or legal fragmentation that hinder the competitive power of the EFI and necessitate the intervention of the EU and its Member States.
