Clinical and morphological characteristics of intraductal carcinoma in situ of the mammary gland
A review of the current medical literature demonstrates a steadily increasing interest in DCIS and minimally invasive breast tumors. The main issue that has remained relevant for decades is the difficulty of diagnosing such lesions, as well as identifying microinvasion in these groups of patients, with the subsequent development of an adequate volume of treatment. The article presents and characterizes the diagnostic criteria of DCIS, its immunohistochemical characteristics and prognostic factors in the detection of invasive growth.
