Mixed Reality Visualization of Abstract Knowledge Graph Structures using the Domain of Quantum Computing

Understanding complex abstract data structures, such as knowledge graphs (KGs), requires effective visualization, especially for debugging and white-box testing. However, traditional 2D visualization techniques often lack the spatial depth and interactivity required to accurately depict the complex relations inherent in non-hierarchical, cyclic graphs, limiting understanding. These limitations become critical in rapidly evolving fields like quantum computing, where intuitive visualizations are essential to support expert understanding and validation. To address this, we present an immersive Mixed Reality (MR) approach that enables users to explore and interact with complex KGs, spatially encoding semantic similarity.
