Response to Parental Leave and Pay Review: Call for Evidence

This evidence submission responds to the Department for Business and Trade and the Department for Work and Pensions call for evidence in their review of parental leave provision. This was open between 1st July and 26th August 2025. In it we argue for the expansion of leave to gestational parents who have had an abortion and their partners. We also argue that this leave should be renamed as not everyone in this situation experiences it as a bereavement.
