The Poetics of Fortune and Misfortune: A Literary Study of *Lucky Girl, Unlucky Boy
This paper offers a literary and semiotic analysis of *Lucky Girl, Unlucky Boy*, exploring the intertwined notions of luck, fate, and resonance. By situating the text within the lineage of modern and postmodern literary traditions, this study proposes that Nemoto’s narrative is not merely a love story between fortune and misfortune, but an experiment in equilibrium—the attempt to reconcile chaos and harmony through a resonant literary structure. The analysis introduces the concept of the *Tenson Poetic Equation*, connecting energy (E) and information (I) as literary forces that shape the reader’s perception of luck and tragedy.
