Gemoduleerd golfvormontwerp voor optimale gelijktijdige draadloze informatie- en vermogenoverdracht
RF signals were mainly being used for either information transmission purposes only or wireless power transfer (WPT) only until recently when the idea of simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) came into the picture. SWIPT can make the idea of self-sustainable communication systems in IoT and 5G and beyond wireless networks feasible with the desired Quality of Service. To fully open up the potential of SWIPT technology, new modulation schemes suitable for carrying data as well as energy need to be designed. For SWIPT, there exists a trade-off between information rate and energy harvested from the modulated signals, and both can not be maximized simultaneously. This research aims to design modulation schemes. Designed transmission schemes are more closer to practical schemes which are already being used for high information rates. The designed waveforms offer the benefit of reducing the overall power consumption at the IoT nodes for future SWIPT-enabled self-sustainable wireless communication networks.
