Психологічні компоненти розвитку правосвідомості майбутніх юристів

The article examines the psychological components of the development of legal awareness of law students. It has been established that the main criteria for the development of legal awareness of future lawyers are legal knowledge, the level of legal education, attitude to legal norms, the stability of legal beliefs, value orientations, the formation of legal attitudes and the compliance or non-compliance with the law revealed in behavior. Each of these aspects is essential, and at the same time, it serves as an indicator reflecting the level of remoteness (low, medium, high) in the development of legal awareness of students who in the future should connect their lives with the legal sphere. An important factor for determining the level of legal awareness of students is their own behavior, which can be constructive or destructive in relation to current legal norms. Each of the above-mentioned elements of the model of progress in the development of students’ legal awareness combines a psychological aspect and a pedagogical approach. The process of forming students’ legal awareness depends on various mental aspects, such as perception, attention, memory, thinking, as well as sensations that affect the processes of perception and assimilation of information. A person’s actions and decisions are controlled by psychological characteristics and states, such as abilities, needs, motives, will, feelings, emotions, character, values. As communication and the performance of legal functions occur, interaction with other people actively affects the development of a lawyer’s legal awareness and his ability to regulate his own legal behavior. Legal awareness in lawyers is of a theoretical and practical nature, since the main goal of their work is to apply theoretical knowledge (scientific research) in practice. Law affects the consciousness of the relevant persons, performing their functions. When establishing new guidelines for Ukrainian legal policy, it is necessary to take into account that the formation of legal awareness in lawyers occurs under the influence of the social environment. This influence is due to objective conditions and subjective factors that operate both at the level of the general environment and at the immediate level, permeating all aspects of social life.
