Particular attention is paid to the question of the right to strike in the important area of essential services. As the right to strike and its limits are generally of great interest at international and national levels and as legal developments in this area have recently accelerated in many places, this highly topical book is recommended not only to labour law scholars but also to political decision-makers, representatives of the social partners and practitioners.
