Toediening van peptiden, proteïnen en antilichamen aan het colon

The PhD is part of the COLOTAN project, funded by Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) (grant agreement 956851). Aim of the PhD is the development of a formulation platform based on multiparticulate systems for the colon targeted delivery of biologics, including peptides, antibodies and proteins. Thus, the treatment of local gut diseases, mainly Crohn's disease and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) should be facilitated. The project includes the knowledge about the stabilization effect of GRAS material, the usage of different analytical tools for the characterization of biologics both prior to and post solidification, and also the development of a multiparticulate delivery system for biologics.
