DIVERSE VOICES –Addressing Family and Domestic Violence Conference:USING CULTURE AND RELIGION TO ADDRESS FDV ISSUES
By thoughtfully integrating and leveraging the powerful influences of culture and religion, we can establish an empathetic therapeutic framework that invites men from CaLD communities to feel both respected and supported in adopting non-violent, family-oriented behaviours. This approach not only honours their cultural and spiritual values but also nurtures a sense of belonging and responsibility toward their families and communities. Ultimately, these efforts will help foster the development of safer homes and more harmonious communities, where everyone can thrive in an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding.
