Ontwikkeling en modificatie van nanofiltratiemembranen voor verbeterde scheiding en selectieve ionenrecuperatie
This PhD research develops high-performance positively charged nanofiltration membranes for heavy metal wastewater treatment and lithium recovery from salt lake brines. Three modification methods were studied: grafting L-arginine to improve hydrophilicity and metal ion removal; using choline chloride to enhance antiscaling and rejection of heavy metal ions; and adding AMN molecules during polymerization to tune membrane structure for selective lithium separation in high magnesium environments. These approaches offer sustainable solutions for water purification and resource recovery.
