Political Gauge Fields and Support-Base-Induced Distortions
This paper introduces a gauge-field framework for political systems.By defining a political gauge field as the mismatch between policy gradients generated by support bases and the actual velocity of policy change, political stagnation, polarization, and collapse are interpreted as structural field distortions rather than ideological or moral failures.Support bases act as political mass densities that curve political and discursive space, creating trap-like geometries and cliff structures. The framework naturally extends gauge-field approaches previously applied to economics and offers a unified structural model of socio-political dynamics.
