Numerical simulation of pollutant diffusion and prevention and control technology during reservoir dredging process
Reservoir dredging is of great significance for maintaining the long-term function of reservoirs. Currently, some reservoirs in China have serious siltation problems, and dredging projects have been launched. Reservoir dredging is often carried out using cutter suction dredgers. When the cutter is used to cutter and suction the sediment of the reservoir, it will cause disturbance to the silt and surrounding water. The pollutants contained in the silt will diffuse with the flow of the water, affecting the water quality of the reservoir. In order to analyze the diffusion trend of pollutants in the sediment of a reservoir during the dredging process using a cutter suction dredger, as well as the prevention and control effect of pollution diffusion using anti fouling screens, this paper uses computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technology to numerically simulate the diffusion trend of pollutants in the reservoir dredging process and the prevention and control effect of anti fouling screens on pollutant diffusion in solid-liquid two-phase flow. Through numerical calculations, the diffusion of pollutants was analyzed, providing technical support for the installation of anti fouling screens and verifying their effectiveness in preventing and controlling the diffusion of pollutants in water bodies.
