WP01 — GHDP™: The Financial Model of Time

WP01 — GHDP™: The Financial Model of Time Foresight 88 Institute — Temporal Systems Research Unit™ This working paper introduces GHDP™ — the Gross Human Dynamics Product, the first macro-financial framework that models time as a priced economic variable.Modern economies operate under unprecedented acceleration driven by AI, automation, shortened decision cycles, and an expanding mismatch between systemic speed and human cognitive capacity. Traditional macroeconomic frameworks assume temporal neutrality—that the pace of systems does not materially distort economic behavior. This assumption no longer holds. GHDP™ formalizes how: human temporal capacity, system acceleration, and institutional integration constraints interact to generate tempo-based economic divergence, shaping productivity, decision quality, and long-run welfare. The paper derives the mathematical definition of GHDP™, outlines its core components, and demonstrates how temporal disequilibrium produces measurable distortions in labor productivity, consumer decision processes, financial stability, and policy transmission. We conclude by proposing a new macro-governance paradigm: Tempo Governance™. Abstract
